I Bought a Tack Trunk

Tack trunks are OUTRAGEOUS. I'm sorry but I'm not going to pay 500 bucks for a box to put my horse's stuff in. You can make your own, but I don't even know how to nail a nail into a piece of wood. So where do you go for a decently priced box to store horse stuff ? Lowe's! Or Home Depot, but I went to Lowe's. I bought a solid black tool trunk with wheels and a handle. It was only $60 and it's pretty much the same thing as those $300 trunks. Since I don't store my saddle or bridle in my trunk, it doesn't need to be too big. It's the perfect size for my grooming kit, treats, fly masks, an extra lead and halter, and a bunch of other stuff I haven't even put in it yet.
The black box is the trunk. The pink bucket is my
muck bucket and the pink whiteboard has his
name and says that he's moving in August 1st.
File box I made.

I also made a file box for my horse Relay's records. I took a basic, plastic storage bin with a black lid and taped in Jelly Bean print scrap book paper. Then I took a rectangular piece of solid green paper and wrote his name on it in black sharpie. I put file folders in side. There's a folder for horse treat recipes, Farrier records, vet records, feed receipts, and a folder for other receipts of things I've bought for him. It helps keep all of his records and receipts clean and organized, and it looks cute too. I keep it stored in my bedroom.
